I have been searching for this fanfic for years.

I have tried appealing to ficfinder groups before without luck.

I try again now in the hopes that new members may know of it.



Harry had wings.

I do not recall if there was any pairing.

Harry was living temporarily with Remus in a muggle area.

There were death eaters in a church for some reason. They set it on fire and killed the priest. The churchgoers fled outside. Harry smashed his way out of the church through a stained glass window and landed with his wings spread.

Harry fought the deatheaters - I believe without his wand. It was snowing and I think in the end he used some strong magic to vaporise/turn them all to ash.

After the battle, he realised that the churchgoers had been watching from all around him - people in the windows of houses too. Many had filmed the battle on phones or cameras.

Some of them and people on TV later that night speculated as to whether he was an angel or not.

I remember that Harry got in trouble with *someone* for exposure, but I think they were original characters from a non-ministry-related office.

I desperately hope someone here can help me.

If nothing else, if people know of wing!fic lists, that would be helpful. I only know of one and it didn't have it. I have also searched through google, C2 lists and LJ with out any luck.

I'm looking for a story focusing on Draco changing sides, with angst in that he is betraying people whatever he does. I have read Maya's If You've A Ready Mind and that is the sort of thing (the HBP era part - HBP is a good era for this -) I'm looking for. (It's kind of hard to trump Maya, I know . . . ) It doesn't have to be entierly focused on Draco changing sides, but I want something which isn't, "Well, I saw my father doing something bad and foomph! I decided I had to betray my entire childhood and the rest of my family (which extends beyond his parents) and come and work for Dumbledoor!" H/D preferably, but if it's well written, I'll read pretty much anything. ('Cept Harry/Ron.)

I have been obsessing over the other fic that I lost, and I have remembered a bit more. Snape and Harry are stuck together in Grimmauld Place. Harry comes down one day to spaces potions lab in teh house. while talking to snape, he picks up a beaker or something (that he thinks is unicorn blood) and plays with it. Snape looks up and sees what Harry is doing, and he shouts No! making harry jumps, which spills the mercury on his hands. Snape rushes over and washes off the mercury, knowing it's no use, but, lo and behold, Harry doesn't die like expected. Snape, decides that some testing is in order. He has Harry drink various poisons. Harry eventually starts feeling sick, but only because of how full he gets from all the liquids. I think that they eventually discover that if he wasn't awesomely hard to kill he would have died in his cupboard long ago, because of fumes or something. I also remember a part where Snape and Harry are practicing with swords, when Harry gets distracted, so Snape ends up accidentally stabbing him in the heart. Snape is horrified, but when he pulls out the sword, Harry ends up living.
I think, that in this one, Snape has harry do some sort of work out, using a treadmill sort of thing, but magically. Early in the training Snape discovers that Harry has asthma, or something like it. He fixes that with a potion.
Also, maybe, the Order catches Bellatrix, and there is this whole scene, where Harry is pissed, and wants to kill her. He maybe does too.

1. FOUND! "Letters" by Zed Adams
In the first fic, Harry and Draco are in a relationship or starting a relationship and nobody knows about it. I think they live together. At some point, Harry and Draco were looking for their gravy boat. They think Narcissa did something to it because she had visited recently. Narcissa talks to them about their relationship which they deny. She then makes the comment about how she knows they are sleeping together because they would have found the gravy boat in Draco's(could have been Harry's) room if they slept in their own beds.

2. FOUND! "Bubble trouble with the Terrible Twosome" by quite demented
I think it's a Harry/Draco story. A prank was played at Hogwarts where a song would spontaneously start playing around certain people. I believe "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top was played for Lucius and he made a comment about it being a good muggle song.

I got an invite to google wave a while back and thought it would be the perfect tool to use for a collaborative (perhaps multimedia) fic project. Unfortunately, I have no one to collaborate with at the moment, so I'm looking for victims volunteers who would be interested in working on something of the sort. I'm not particularly tied to any story ideas or pairings (other than femmeslash), though I think working on something involved with a strong plot or world building would be fun. I'm tentatively saying no kiddies under 18, because of the possible legal complications of minors getting involved with something that could potentially go into adult territory.
